Pierson Memorial Cemetery

Pierson Memorial Cemetery is  located near Pierson in the Municipality of Two Borders. This cemetery is notable for commemorating local residents who served and died during military service. Plaques on the gateposts were dedicated on August 3, 1931, honoring these individuals. MHS Manitoba​

Copley Anglican Cemetery

Copley Anglican Cemetery is located east of Lyleton, Manitoba, associated with the historic Copley Anglican Church (also known as St. George’s Anglican Church). The church was built in 1892 and deconsecrated in 1913. The first burial in the cemetery occurred in October 1892, a month after the church's consecration. Vantage Points​

  • Location: Approximately 18 km (11.25 miles) south of Pierson, Manitoba, on the west side of Provincial Road 256. Find A Grave​
  • Coordinates: 49.02954°N, 101.25109°W 
  • Historical Significance: The cemetery is associated with the now-ruined Copley Anglican Church, which served the community from 1892 until its deconsecration in 1913. The church was built using local sandstone and was consecrated by Bishop Robert Machray. The site is also known as Butterfield Church and Copley Church. Glen's Travels
  • Current Condition: The church building has fallen into disrepair, with only remnants of the original walls remaining. The cemetery is still present, though only a few headstones remain, with reports indicating approximately 11 graves, though only three headstones exist on the site today. 

Lyleton Cemetery


Lyleton Cemetery was Established between 1890 and 1893, on land obtained from A. M. Lyle. Find A Grave​

  • Location: Southwest of Lyleton, on the north side of Provincial Range Road 2N, midway between Provincial Roads 164W and 165W, within the Municipality of Two Borders.
  • Coordinates: Latitude 49.02940, Longitude -101.14890. ​MHS Manitoba
  • Notable Features: The cemetery includes a cenotaph honouring local veterans
  • Genealogical Resources: A list of burials is available from the Manitoba Genealogical Society, including a searchable online database available to members at the MGS Manitoba Name Index (MANI).

Coultervale Cemetery

  • Coultervale Cemetery is located in the Municipality of Two Borders, Manitoba. Established in 1898, it serves as the final resting place for many early settlers of the region.​
  • Situated: Southwest of the town of Coulter, Manitoba.​
  • Coordinates: Latitude 49.05810, Longitude -101.02602.

Waskada Cemetery

  • Waskada Cemetery is located approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) east of Waskada, Manitoba, on the west side of Provincial Road 148W, between Provincial Roads 251 and 252. ​Find A Grave
  • The cemetery contains a Commonwealth war grave from World War I, commemorating a Canadian soldier who died during the conflict. CWGC​

The cost for each niche, which accommodates two small urns, is $2,000. This includes one plaque. If an end date is added at a later time, an additional fee of $50, plus freight, will apply.

Cemetery plots are priced at:

  • $300 for residents
  • $400 for non-residents

Goodlands Cemetery

  • Address: 140100 Provincial Range Road 6N, Goodlands, MB
  • Established: While a sign at the cemetery entrance suggests it was established in 1867, the earliest known burial occurred in 1903.
  • Memorials: A memorial at the northeast corner commemorates Goodlands pioneers and military veterans. Two plaques honor local residents Fred Morningstar and Neil Christensen for their lifelong service to the community. ​mhs.mb.
