The Crocus Country Business Awards celebrate and recognize the outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals that contribute to the economic and social well-being of our region: the Municipality of Two Borders, the Municipality of Brenda-Waskada, and the Town of Melita.
Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025
Location: Melita Legion Hall
Time: 5:00 Cocktails, 6:00 Supper, 7:00 Awards, 8:00 Comedian
Nominations can be submitted online via our Nomination Form. Anyone can nominate a business or individual. Simply fill in the required fields and tell us why you believe your nominee deserves recognition. Printed forms can also be found in the municipal and town offices, and can be returned there as well. Nominees must be located within Crocus Country (Municipality of Two Borders, Municipality of Brenda-Waskada, or Town of Melita) and meet the criteria for the category they are nominated in. Each award has specific eligibility guidelines listed on the nomination form.
AWARD CRITERIA
Yes! Self-nominations are encouraged. This is your chance to showcase what makes your business, organization, or team stand out.
No. While the nominee with the most nominations in a category will receive 2 free tickets to the event, winners are selected based on merit, not quantity of nominations. A judging panel reviews all eligible entries and selects the recipients based on the criteria for each category.
Deadline: Friday, September 12th @4:30 pm.
Late nominations will not be accepted, so be sure to get yours in on time!
Winners are chosen by the board members of the Crocus Country Economic Development Corporation.. Each nomination is evaluated based on the quality of the submission and how well it aligns with the criteria outlined for each category.
Tickets will be available to purchase online and at local municipal offices.
$50 per ticket, $350 for table of 8. More details coming soon. TICKET INFORMATION
The event is organized by the Crocus Country Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) to recognize and uplift the businesses and individuals helping our region grow.
